34 of My Favorite Devotionals

It’s no secret that I read devotionals. In fact devotionals are the very thing that helped me actively and intentionally read through the Bible. When I first got saved I just knew all of a sudden I would be able to read the Bible front to back (I’m a good reader) and that was my mindset. Of course I started trying and was STRUGGLING. I desired to read the Bible and uncover God’s truth for my life, but it wasn’t until I started tapping into devotionals that I really began to understand.

If you’ve been following me for a bit, you know I started sharing the devotionals I read on my Insta Stories. I share because I don’t have it all figured out and because the things I was learning from the devotionals ESPECIALLY as a creator are so essential to those of us who have been called to this arena. Being a creative is scary, people don’t always take us seriously, people always have something to say, people tell us our passions won’t pay our bills, but the way God is set up I’m not taking any of those things to heart and you shouldn’t either. That said here are 34 of my favorite devotionals.

I always sample them first, you get to see the devotional blurb before you decide to start (or not start) a certain devotional which I appreciate. There is definitely something for everyone and if you need a starting point, you now have over 30 places to begin.

I recently finished Dangerous Prayers on the Bible App and it was really eye opening.
